Apple Independent Repair Provider

We replace the part, not the whole machine.

A failed trackpad doesn't need a new top case. A dead port doesn't need a new logic board. Component-level repair on the bench is what keeps a Mac repair the price of a repair rather than the price of a replacement.

Prices include VAT. Genuine repairs are paid for when you book, since the part is ordered in for your device. Aftermarket repairs are paid for on collection. Why?

Everything else, quoted

We repair these too — we just don't publish a price, because the cost depends on what's actually failed. Free diagnostic, then a price before we start.

Mac questions

Do I have to replace the whole top case for one key?

Not always. Where a component can be replaced on its own we do that — it's cheaper, and it's the reason a workshop repair often costs less than a whole-unit swap.

Can you do data recovery from a Mac?

Yes, including from drives that won't mount. There's a free assessment first so you know what's recoverable before you commit.

My Mac isn't in the list — can you still fix it?

Very likely. We hold published prices for the MacBook Air M1 so far; everything else we look at and quote. Call 01604 931 212.

Will a repair affect my Apple warranty?

If the Mac is still inside Apple's warranty or on AppleCare, go to Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider — we can't do in-warranty work, and it may cost you nothing there. Outside warranty there's no Apple cover left to affect, and our own work carries a 90-day warranty. Our IRP page sets out the difference in full.
