£99 including VAT per vehicle, once, to supply the tracker and fit it. We come to you.
£10 + VAT per vehicle per month — £12 including VAT — for the tracking itself. The SIM, the data and the dashboard are all in that.
The monthly charge runs for 24 months, then rolls on month to month until you cancel it.
The conversation and the visit to look at the vehicles cost nothing, whether or not you go ahead.

It is our software, not a badge on somebody else's

Most firms selling tracking locally are reselling a platform built elsewhere, which is why the answer to "can it show me X?" is usually no. We wrote this one, we run it, and we are in Northampton — so that question goes to the people who can actually change the screen. It is the same reason the prices, the booking and the postcode checker on this website all run on software we built: we would rather own the thing than rent it.

Fitting

Hard-wired units fitted properly and out of sight — about half an hour a vehicle, at your premises, so nothing has to come off the road for a day. Plug-in units where a vehicle is leased and you would rather not touch the loom. We will tell you which suits, and it is not always the more expensive one.

Not only vans

The thing that goes missing is often not the vehicle. Trailers, mini diggers, generators and a van's worth of tools can all be tracked, and the kit is different: an asset tracker runs on its own battery and holds on with a magnet rather than being wired in, so it reports where it is every so often rather than continuously. That is the trade for a battery that lasts, and for most people it is the right one — the alarm that matters is a line drawn round the yard telling you something crossed it at two in the morning. What it costs depends on the kit and how often you need to hear from it, so ring and tell us what you want watching.

Your drivers should know

Tracking employees' vehicles is monitoring people, and the law treats it that way. Tell your drivers, put it in writing, and switch tracking off for private use where a vehicle is also personal. It is not an obstacle — it just needs doing, and we would rather say so now than have you find out from an employment tribunal.
