Repair questions
How long does an iPhone screen repair take?
Most screen and battery repairs are done the same day, and often while you wait if the part is on the shelf. We confirm the timing once we've seen the device rather than guessing over the phone.
What's the difference between the two screen prices?
The genuine Apple screen is the part Apple made for your phone, fitted by an authorised provider, and it carries our 90-day warranty. The aftermarket screen is a good-quality panel made by someone else — it costs less, it looks close, and it carries a 3-month warranty. We'll show you both and let you choose.
Will a repair affect my Apple warranty?
If it's still inside Apple's warranty or covered by AppleCare, take it to Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider — that's what the warranty is for, and we can't do in-warranty work. Outside warranty there's no Apple cover left to affect, and a genuine part means your service history still records a genuine part, which matters the day you sell it. My iPhone isn't in the list — can you still fix it?
Very likely. We hold published prices for 37 iPhone models. If yours isn't one of them, call 01604 931 212 and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing.
Do you repair anything other than Apple?
Yes — Samsung, Google, Microsoft Surface, OnePlus and most other makes, plus Windows laptops and PCs. We don't publish prices for those because the parts market moves; we look at it and quote you before we start.
Can you collect it from me?
Across Northampton, NN1 to NN6 — one flat £10, there and back. Outside those postcodes you are welcome to bring it in to Moulton Park.
